GEORGES JEANTY is a New York Times Bestselling comic book illustrator, mostly known for his work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer comics published by Dark Horse.

Georges was handpicked by creator Joss Whedon for Buffy Season 8, a comic book series that won the Eisner Award for Best New Comic Book Series in 2008, and served as the official continuation of the hit TV series. He continues as a regular series artist for Buffy and works on other comic book continuations of Whedon associated properties such as Serenity/Firefly.

His previous work includes being co-creator of the critically acclaimed The American Way, a comics miniseries written by celebrated screenwriter John Ridley and released through Wildstorm, and its sequel The American Way: Those Above and Those Below published by DC Comics/Vertigo. A live action adaption of ‘The American Way: Those Above and Those Below’ is currently in the works from Blumhouse. Additionally, he has worked for DC Comics on titles such as Green Lantern, Superboy, and Superman and Marvel Comics on Bishop: The Last X-Man, Deadpool, Gambit, and Weapon X.
